4) Protocol for face-to-face Bhajans on Sunday 19 June
Peter, the Site Manager, will open up the School at 8:30 a.m. and close it soon after 11:30 a.m.
The Sai Organisation will still be taking COVID Prevention Precautions, so when you reach the School, please:
– Write your name and Contact Number in the Register that will be outside the School Hall. If you are coming as a family, please put just one name and then ‘+ the number of people’. For example, if the Reddy family of five come for the Bhajans, they would simply write ‘Shantha Reddy + 4’. This will speed up processing of attendees.
– Please wear a face covering. If you have your own, please bring it along.
– Allow your temperature to be taken (Anyone with a temperature higher than 37.5 o Celsius, will be asked to return home and self-isolate).
– Use the hand-sanitizer that will be available.
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 (i.e., a high temperature, a continuous cough, a loss of taste and/or smell) should not attend face-to-face Bhajans. If one member of the household shows symptoms, all the members are kindly requested to refrain from attending Bhajans.
Anyone showing COVID symptoms after attending the Bhajans, should inform Suresh by e-mail at [email protected], or by telephoning 07476 006 739.
Once in the Hall, please take a seat. Musicians and singers only, please sit on the floor.
Singers are requested to put a microphone cover over the microphone before singing. After their Bhajan, the microphone cover has to be removed, and the microphone wiped down with an Antiseptic Wipe before the microphone is passed to the next singer.
We will endeavour to have adequate ventilation.
For the Aarthi, an electric tea-light will be utilised. No incense sticks or naked flames are to be used in the School (due to clauses in their Fire Insurance Policy).
After the Bhajans, a team of specific volunteers will pack everything away.
