MK Sai Centre Announcements : 27 March 2022

Sai Ram, Everyone,
First of all, please remember to move your clocks forward by on hour on Saturday night [the adage goes, ’Spring forward; In the Fall (Autumn), fall backwards]. Many of the electronic clocks (e.g., on mobile phones, etc.) don’t need messing about with, luckily.
Once you’ve done this, prepare for a breathtakingBhajan experience on Sunday (27 March), by  logging on using the details given below, from 08:45 hours :

The General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR]!Several weeks ago, we sent out Ketanbhai’s message (shown below) urging all of us to register in relation to GDPR. Sadly, even though the task would have taken less than two minutes, many have not complied with the request. We have received information that only 39 of the 132 devotees in our Mailing List have filled in the required Form (accessed via the link in Ketanbhai’s message below). Now, as Swami constantly tells us, we have to comply with the country’s Regulations, so, regretfully, after 30 April 2022 only those who  have filled in the GDPR Form will be sent the Centre’s Announcements.

Let us stay Connected to His Mission…..!” – Important General Data Protection Regulation

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Truby’s Garden Tea Room this Sunday !

Further to last Sunday’s description of what Truby’s Garden Tea Room is all about (if you missed it, please view from time-frame 1:06:48 at  https://youtu.be/qbEALFvUU0U), do please drop by at Christ the Cornerstone Church to enjoy some good food, and more importantly, good company.
The food is really – the cakes are especially recommended ! All the proceeds go towards local charities. Kurshida Mirza (MBE, Chairperson of the MK Community Foundation) and her Team are very warm people who’ll make you feel at home. As usual, there will be a Stall run by members (including Suresh Nesaratnam) of the MK Palestine Solidarity Campaign (which seeks to support Palestinian livelihoods which are being eroded daily by harassment by Zionist settlers illegally occupying the West Bank of Palestine).
Apart from beautiful hand-made jewellery and handicraft from a Palestinian women’s cooperative, the Stall will have the following FairTrade products :
– Extra Virgin Olive Oil, from the sun-blessed hills of the West Bank- Medjoul Dates (known as the ‘King of Dates’, for their superior, unbeatable, caramel flavour)- Freekeh, a high-protein, low glycemic-index cereal ideal for salads and soups- Za’atar, a mixture of exotic Middle Eastern herbs, which can be used to zest up a myriad of dishes- Caramelised Almonds- Olive Oil Soap [extremely nourishing for the skin] in four fragrances (Pomegranate. Sage, Lemon, and Neutral)- Keffiyeh (the Palestinian head-dress which makes for a lovely warm scarf)
