2) Seva OpportunityPlease consider assisting with Teaching Materials for the young Afghani evacuee children in Milton Keynes, as detailed in the message below from Seelan :
- Ceiling on Desires – Selfless Seva (Needed by the organisers by Sunday 24-Apr): I would like to share a wonderful Seva activity that our SSE / Bal Vikas children can participate in, but it is open to all.
- We have 150 Afghani child evacuees who are in desperate need of the items listed in the Table below.
- This is purely voluntary and aims to teach our children the power of giving, allowing them to put into practice COD (Ceiling on Desires).
- Please don’t worry about any shortfall, as this will be addressed by the SSE Wing.
- If you would like to participate, please contact me, at [email protected]
- Please may I ask that you provide only unused items (treating this as an offering to God).
- All items received will be gift-wrapped and provided to the children as part of their Eid gift hampers
