MK Sai Centre Announcements : 17 July 2022

Sai Ram, Everyone,

We trust you are all keeping safe

This Sunday (17 July) we have our final face-to-face Bhajans at Jubilee Wood Primary School, before we break for the Summer. During the Break, we’ll be having Bhajan Sessions via Zoom. Face-to-face Bhajans will resume on Sunday 11 September 2022.

Our Bhajan Session this Sunday will be special, as we will be having a Programme from the Bal Vikas children to celebrate Guru Poornima.

1)     Aarthi Roster

Aarthi this Sunday will be offered by Neerja.

2)     Region 3 Guru Poornima Celebration

Our Centre hosted the Region 3 Guru Poornima Celebration last Saturday. The Regional President was extremely pleased with how it went, and apparently, so was Swami, as on three occasions devotees saw flowers falling ! We had about 100 Attendees, including 43 devotees from Milton Keynes to welcome the Guests from the other 15 Sai Centres in our Region.

Whilst the Live-Streaming had its challenges, and a fuse blew on the urn during tea-time, devotees were uplifted by Chanting of the Vedam and Sai Ashtothram (the 108 Names of Swami); enjoyed fantastic Bhajans; learnt about the history of the Padhuka Pooja;  observed, and participated in a Padhuka Pooja being conducted with an explanation of the process; and heard about a valuable Service Project to help Ukrainians who have moved to Region 3. The chance to meet devotees from different Sai Centres and have face-to-face interaction was appreciated by many. The Lunch, and Snacks at tea-time, were scrumptious!

By the morning of 14 July 2022, the YouTube recording of the event (at https://youtube.com/c/RegionofLove) had had 1200 views!

All the MK devotees made sure the event went smoothly, showing initiative whenever the situation demanded it. Our guests all left with a good impression of Milton Keynes Sai Centre.

Below is a selection of the messages we received after the Event :

“Congratulations Milton Keynes Sai Centre for hosting an amazing Regional event.
Everything looked perfect and many friends were grateful for the delicious meals served, and the warmth and hospitality they experienced.

May Swami continue to be our Guide
Sai Blessings ”

“Beautiful program. Sai Ram  thanks”

“The distributing of the vadai and sweet rice during tea-time was a bit disorganised but I’m so glad Devotees saw this and stepped up for Swami – my heartfelt gratitude goes to your Hi-Vis team   ”

“Well done, all! With the beloved grace of our Swami, everything worked out so well.
We are all truly blessed.
