2) With Swami’s Grace, we’ll be having our first face-to-face Bhajan Session , after COVID, on Sunday 8 May. Below is a summary of what will happen  on that day:
Peter, the Site Manager, will open up the School at 8:30 a.m. and close it at 11:30 a.m.

The Sai Organisation will still be taking COVID Prevention Precautions, so when you reach the School, please:

–       Write your name and Contact Number in the Register that will be outside the School Hall. If you are coming as a family, please put just one name and then ‘+ the number of people’. For example, if the Reddy family of five come for the Bhajans, they would simply write ‘Shantha Reddy + 4’. This will speed up processing of attendees.

–    Wear a face covering. If you have your own, please bring it along.

–      Allow your temperature to be taken (Anyone with a temperature higher than 37.5 Celsius, will be asked to return home and self-isolate).

–       Use the hand-sanitizer that will be available

Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 (i.e., a high temperature, a continuous cough, a loss of taste and/or smell) should not attend face-to-face Bhajans.

Anyone showing COVID symptoms after attending the Bhajans, should inform Suresh by e-mail at [email protected], or by telephoning 07476 006 739.

Once in the Hall, please take a seat. Musicians and singers, please sit on the floor.

There will be no Bal Vikas Classes on 8 May, as we’ll all be celebrating Easwaramma Day until 11:30 a.m.

Singers are requested to put a microphone cover over the microphone before singing. After their Bhajan, the microphone cover has to be removed, and the microphone wiped down with an Antiseptic Wipe before the microphone is passed to the next singer.

We will endeavour to have adequate ventilation.

For the Aarthi, an electric tea-light can be utilised. No incense sticks or naked flames are to be used in the School (due to clauses in their Fire Insurance Policy).

After the Bhajans, a team of specific volunteers will pack everything away.

Toilets

There will be three toilet cubicles downstairs for our use.

Fire Drill

There will be a Fire Drill at 11:30 a.m. on 8 May 2022. Everyone has to make their way out in an orderly manner and assemble in the playground. A representative from the School will be there to observe that we conduct ourselves appropriately.

3) Please register for attendance at the National Easwaramma Day Celebration – it’s on Saturday 7 May. More details in the Poster below.
It would be good to car-share in travelling there. If you have space in your car, or if you need a lift, please contact Seelan (at [email protected])

4) The General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR]!

We are delighted to say that of this morning, 65 devotees have registered their details for GDPR purposes.

Those who haven’t, are encouraged to do so by clicking on the link in Ketanbhai’s message below. The task will take less than two minutes.

As mentioned several weeks ago, after 30 April 2022, only those who have filled in the GDPR Form will be sent the Centre’s Announcements.
