“My birthday : I consider the day when divinity blossoms in your heart, as My birthday in you. Therefore each of you should individually celebrate such a day as My birthday. The day when you resolve to follow My advice, to follow My directives, to translate My message into acts of service, and to engage in sadhanathat day is My birthday for you

Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 13 Ch. 19, November 23, 1975

Along with the online programme, we are also excited to present a wonderful opportunity for devotees across the UK. All SSE children, young adults, and adults are invited to offer their expressions of gratitude, tokens of love, and prayers. We wish to offer this garland of Love to Bhagawan for all aspects of our lives He touches.

The offering will be presented on 23rd November at His Lotus Feet in Prasanthi Nilayam in the form of a printed book. The book will be designed in the UK and will be accessible electronically after it has been presented to Bhagawan. To submit your offering, please complete the Submission form found here.

Please see the attached Guidance Notes for full information, including the variety of offerings we welcome, and how to submit your entry. Examples of offerings are provided below the Guidance Notes.

We request that in order to have this beautiful book ready in time for the birthday celebrations, please submit your offering before 31st October 2021.

Dear Friends and Members of InterfaithMK,

This Thursday is Lakshmi Puja and the famous peak of the Hindu festival of Divali, where candles are lit representing the victory of good over evil. New clothes will be bought, houses cleaned and gifts given. If you meet anyone finely dressed in Indian garb this week, please wish them a “Happy Deepavali or Divali”!

Our monthly meeting is a film evening on environmentalism, featuring a Presentation by Dr. Vandana Shiva on the topic of “Why We Need an Organic Future”, delivered to the Northeast Organic Farmers Association in 2017. Wikipedia describes Dr Shiva thus: “Vandana Shiva is an Indian scholar, environmental activist, food sovereignty advocate, ecofeminist and anti-globalisation author. Based in Delhi, Shiva has written more than 20 books. She is often referred as ‘Gandhi of grain’ for her activism associated with the anti-GMO movement.”

To celebrate Interfaith Week 2021 MK Islamic Arts Heritage and Culture is teaming up with IFMK to present Healing Arc, An evening of shared spoken word, poetry, music culture and reflective conversations with four counties. It will take place in MK College on Chaffron Way MK6 5LP at 6 pm on Wednesday 17th
