Our new website is up and running!
With grateful thanks to Anil, our brilliant Spiritual Coordinator and IT Expert, we have a sparkling, refreshed website for our Sai Centre! It’s a one-stop shop for all you need to know. Do check it out, at
Opening up our Sai Centre
We have received a few completed Questionnaires but need a lot more, to enable us to arrive at an informed decision. So, if you haven’t done it, please fill in our Questionnaire which is at the link below.
Service Matters
Our Sai Centre is continuing with the Breakfast Programme for children at various Primary Schools in MK, whereby each child gets a Breakfast Package of cereal and 2 litres of UHT milk each Friday, to cover breakfast for a week. We envisage supporting 50 children, and if capacity allows, will extend this to more children.
We hope you will all agree that this is a seva opportunity worth continuing.
If you are able to support this seva, please send an e-mail to Kesan, who is leading on this (at [email protected]), stating your interest. Please also contact Kesan if you’d like further information.
Outreach : Grants available for InterFaith Projects
The Milton Keynes Council of Faiths has invited Applications for funding for Projects that promote InterFaith understanding. The Grant Application Form (attached) should be sent by e-mail to Ric Brackenbury, the Coordinator at the Council of Faiths, at [email protected], by 15 October 2021.[Please contact Suresh, at [email protected], if you need further information].
Multi-Faith Service
Our SSE children did a brilliant job last Thursday. The letter below, from David Rennie (Administrator at InterFaith MK) tells it all!
Dear Anil
Please thank all the Sai Children’s Choir, the victorious Shivani and their accompanists for a spectacular bhajan performance at the Multifaith Service for Peace on Thursday.
It imbued the whole evening with peace and dedication and set the standard of spiritual commitment and musicality for all the other groups to follow!
I received many compliments about the singing, but one couple told me “we were happy to go home after the first act as our spirits were fully satisfied”! (I hope they didn’t go home)!
On a personal note, I have been following the choir in many incarnations over the last fifteen years, and I have never heard such lovely harmonies and striking solos as I did on Thursday!
Congratulations, divine blessings and full thanks from all at Interfaith MK
David
